How do I place an order with Blooming Moments?

Are Blooming Moments products inclusive of GST?
Yes, our products & services attract a Goods & Services Tax (GST) of 15%. All prices quoted on the website are in New Zealand Dollars & include GST.

Can I pick up my gift in person?
Absolutely! Please give us a call or email to arrange a mutually convenient time.

Can you custom make a bouquet or nappy cake for me?
Yes of course! We are very flexible & can customise any gift to your requirements or occasion. We do not have an additional labour charge for creating custom orders. We only charge for any additional components you wish to add to a gift.  Please call or email us your requirements or any special colour combinations and we will be happy to let you know whether it can be done & how much it may cost.

What fabric is the baby clothing?
100% cotton for all baby clothing items and the socks are cotton with mixed fibres such as elastine.

Are Blooming Moments gifts made in New Zealand?
Some of the components are manufactured offshore, but the gift arrangements themselves are assembled (with love) in New Zealand.

What happens if nobody is at home at the time of delivery?
You will be asked at checkout whether you give authority to leave the gift if nobody is at home. If you do, our courier will leave the gift at the delivery premises without obtaining a "proof of delivery" signature. Blooming Moments does not accept responsibility for the theft of gifts left unattended where you have given us authority to leave the gift. If you do not give us authority to leave the gift, a calling card will be left with alternative delivery arrangements on it.

What happens if the recipient has already left the hospital?
Please bear in mind that mothers can often have a very brief stay in hospital after the birth of their baby. Please read our delivery timeframes to ensure that the recipient will still be in hospital on the anticipated date of delivery. If the gift is still in transit, we will be able to contact the courier, intercept delivery & arrange for a re-direction of the item. This will incur an additional delivery fee that will be passed onto you & re-directions could take up to 3 working days.
If the item has already been delivered to the central delivery point at the hospital & signed for, we regret that the matter is then out of our control. We are no longer in possession of the gift & you will need to contact the hospital directly to arrange for it to be forwarded to the recipient.

What is your substitution policy?
Due to unforseen circumstances, there may be occasions where a particular product or coloured item is not available from our suppliers. In these cases, Blooming Moments reserves the right to make substitutions of products with equal or greater value. Photo's depicted are a guideline only. Please note that designs & colours may vary depending on the season and will often look different on different computers.

Can I change my order?

Whilst we will make every effort to change your order, our ability to do so will depend on how quickly the gift was dispatched & whether we can intercept the delivery.

How will my gift be wrapped/presented?
All our bouquets & nappy cakes will be wrapped in clear cellophane and then decorated with ribbon. A message card will be attached along with an 'ingredients' card for that finishing touch.

How will my gift be packaged?
Except for Christchurch local deliveries, gifts will be securely packaged using bubble wrap or shredded paper and placed in a strong cardboard box. Where possible, we will use recycled packaging. This does not compromise our quality but does help to keep costs down and is kinder to the environment!

Will you keep my information private?
At Blooming Moments your privacy is our priority. Any personal information you provide to us will only be used by Blooming Moments to complete your order or to contact you regarding any queries and future offers. We will not provide your details to any other third parties. All payment details taken over the phone are immediately shredded once payment is accepted. We do reserve the right to publish any feedback you provide to us but details which could personally identify you will not be published. Please inform us if you do not wish any feedback to be published and we will respect your wishes.

How safe is it to pay with my credit card?
We currently accept payments through PayMate. You do not need a PayMate account to use this service and you can use either VISA or Mastercard. PayMate is a fast and secure payment method & none of your credit card details are disclosed to us. When your payment has been processed, you will receive an email from PayMate confirming all the details. Once this has been issued you can rest assured that your order will be processed. You will also receive a receipt/tax invoice from us via email as proof of payment.

What if I am not happy with my purchase?
Every care is taken to provide you with a gift that we hope will delight the recipient. We take pride in our quality control & presentation checks before your order leaves our premises, but in the unlikely event that you are not happy with your purchase, we will happily replace, exchange or refund (exluding delivery charge) any item(s) within 7 days of purchase, provided they are returned to us in their original condition and packaging. Delivery charges are not refundable unless the item(s) is faulty (defective materials and/or workmanship). Please note you are responsible for the return postage/delivery costs. We would recommend that you obtain proof of postage for your returns as we can not offer a refund if the product is lost and there is no proof of postage.
